The tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown left us saddened, angered and horrified. Newtown is a wonderful town with a tight knit community and Sandy Hook Elementary School is a fun-filled, learning environment with dedicated, enthusiastic, brave educators. They represent an important piece of Connecticut. They represent a part of us. We must reach out to our neighbors during their darkest hour. We must let them know that they are not alone. We must let them know that while we cannot erase this tragedy, we will do what we can to make a difference in their lives.
We are building a list of support funds that you can donate to to make a difference. If you know of any outlets we can add, please let us know and we will add them to this entry. Please note that we did not list these funds in any order. We are building a comprehensive database.
